Summary

The Wizard Carousel is typically used as a template for interactive Wizards. In addition, it can easily display pictures and media (or any other content), with only a few lines of Xaml. There are six types of animations effects, and because the source is included, they can be modified - or easily add your own. A Spinner Control is included as a bonus.

Reference

The library includes two templated controls, the WizardCarousel, and WizardPanel. The WizardCarousel controls the interaction of the displayed WizardPanel items (ShowPrev, ShowNext, CurrentIndex) and can be used interactively in code, or via Binding. The Prev and Next Buttons can be moved to two locations, or hidden if you wish to control the display sequences yourself. As a Templated Content Control, any content can be displayed on each Wizard Panel. The Wizard Carousel control derives from the HeaderedItemsControl, so the Header can be Styled, ReTemplated, and can contain any content. There is also a Footer added for extra convenience.

While performing layout in the Visual Studio Xaml Designer, only a single WizardPanel will be displayed in the WizardCarousel. This unclutters the layout space and makes development easier. While in VS design, animations are disabled. To change the displayed WizardPanel, change the CurrentIndex property from Xaml in the designer to the desired panel.
